On December the 9th 2008 Andrea Petrecca presented the final defense of his Ph.D. dissertation at Università Iuav di Venezia.
After that, the Commission indicate the completion of his Ph.D. in Urban Studies.
The thesis, titled "Il fronte urbano" (The urban front), explains the relationships between the new forms of warfare and the city.
The Ph.D. course was coordinated by Professor Bernardo Secchi.
